Act One Returns:
An extremely limited pop up restaurant experience
Step into Act One, an extremely limited pop-up restaurant inside the character-filled walls of The Old Lyric. Offered on only a few select nights every couple of months, this intimate dining experience brings together thoughtful cooking, warm hospitality and a touch of theatre — the kind that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into the opening scene of something special.
What You Need to Know
Act One returns to The Old Lyric for a short run of extremely limited services - each one shaped a little differently, but grounded in the same idea: thoughtful cooking, warm hospitality, and a space that feels like you’ve stepped into something special.
Two weekends.
Two expressions of Act One.
Mother’s Day - Sunday Roast, Reimagined
We open on Mother’s Day with a one-off service - a three-course Sunday roast, done our way. Familiar in spirit, but elevated in the details. A menu designed to feel generous, comforting and a little more relaxed — the kind of long lunch that brings everyone to the table. A children’s menu ($40) is available, making this a service designed to include the whole table.
The Following Weekend - Friday 15 May & Saturday 16 May
From there, Act One settles back into its usual rhythm. A three-course set menu with choice, individually plated - a relaxed, European-leaning offering shaped by the season.
